Rumpl Blanket Collaboration

HippyTree and Rumpl partnered when both brands were young and establishing themselves within the outdoor industry. Rumpl was pioneering the use of sleeping bag materials for blankets, while HippyTree was creating adventure clothing for a younger generation of climbers. Combining Rumpl’s material technology with HippyTree’s distinctive fabric prints, we created an outdoor blanket that became one of Rumpl’s first major brand collaborations, distributed across all REI retail stores.

As Design Director and Project Manager, I led communication with Rumpl, collaborated with their in-house design team on product development, and oversaw marketing for the collection.
