Hello, and welcome to South Bay Design Lab. I’m Andrew Sarnecki, a creative director and freelance designer with 15+ years of experience shaping consumer lifestyle and apparel brands through product design, art direction, marketing, and team leadership.
I began my career as an Art Director at Body Glove Wetsuits, where I built a strong foundation in brand development and product design. I later founded HippyTree, a surf and climbing apparel company, and helped grow it from a garage start-up into a globally distributed brand carried in more than 500 retailers across 12 countries.
Today I work with brands and organizations to develop meaningful product lines, graphics, and marketing strategies from concept through execution. I combine hands-on creative direction with expertise in product development, manufacturing, merchandising, and retail sales execution.
