Hello, and welcome to South Bay Design Lab. I’m Andrew Sarnecki, a creative director and designer with 15+ years of experience working with consumer lifestyle and apparel brands.

I began my career as an Art Director at Body Glove Wetsuits, where I built a strong foundation in brand development and product design. I later founded HippyTree, a surf and climbing apparel brand that grew from a Hermosa Beach garage into a globally distributed brand carried in over 500 retailers across 12 countries.

Today I design and direct apparel collections, graphics, visual identities, and brand campaigns. I enjoy working hands-on from early concepts through production, drawing on my experience in product development, manufacturing, merchandising, and brand marketing to bring ideas to life.
