LA County Lifeguard Boardshorts

Creating boardshorts for the LA County Lifeguards was a longtime goal of mine at HippyTree. After years of building the relationship, we partnered with lifeguards to develop a performance surf trunk tailored for ocean rescues. Key features included a back hip pocket for a two-way radio and a dual-closure side pocket to securely store tools and valuables.

As Design Director and Project Manager, I led communication with the LA County Lifeguards, directed apparel design, and oversaw product development and marketing.
